Adoption made possible through prayer.

It was part of God’s perfect plan for us to become part of Epicenter and we know that the best is yet to come.

Hector and Jacqueline Rodriguez have received many blessings while attending Epicenter. One of the biggest blessings in 2011 was the referral of our adopted daughter in Korea.  Although our daughter, Jadeline (Yu-Jin Bak) is still in Korea, we could not have expedited the process without the prayers and support of the Epicenturians who donated financial assistance towards her adoption. We were amazed by the out-pouring of love and help that we received from various people in Epicenter.  Some donated through the church and some came up to us personally and gave us money.  We were truly humbled by the fact that many came to help us in our time of need when we were trying to pay off the adoption prior to the deadline.

Thanks to the gracious support and many prayers, our family has grown.  Being military members has given us the opportunity to travel and attend various Churches, we can truly say that we have never seen or experienced such a loving, compassionate and Holy Ghost filled congregation.  Even before we considered starting an adoption, we have enjoyed the Presence of God working in our lives through Epicenter. We know that the Lord has a great plan and future for Epicenter and we are so proud that we can be a part of it all.  It was part of God’s perfect plan for us to become part of Epicenter and we know that the best is yet to come.

God’s always working.

Just recently, we spoke to a young lady in the church who said that they just adopted because our story had an impact on them.  They heard the information from the Pastor about a family (us) needing assistance to complete an adoption and this family donated towards our baby. They did not know who we were and we had never met them until a recent casual encounter.  They started to contemplate if adoption was right for their family and they now have a beautiful adopted child that has a Christian Mommy and Daddy.  What a testimony to tell our daughter about how God continues to answer prayers.  We continue to pray that God uses our adoption to help others and for more Epicenturion babies to be adopted and born to our church.  To God be the glory.
